CorpusClear

Privacy policy

Last updated November 7, 2026. Covers the CorpusClear Chrome tool, which Chrome lists as Manifest until its Web Store version.

What the tool reads

Sizes, counts and dates from the settings, storage, usage and admin pages of the business tools you’re signed in to (such as Gmail, Outlook, Google Drive, Slack, QuickBooks, HubSpot or Dropbox). It checks which supported tools you’re signed in to, measures the ones on your company’s email domain, and skips personal accounts. You can untick any tool before it runs. It reads how many conversations, messages, members and files there are, how much storage they use, and the earliest and latest year. It never opens an email, a chat message or a file, and never asks for or stores a password.

Where it goes

Without a code, results stay on your computer until you download the file and send it yourself. With a code, results are sent to CorpusClear and saved against your company, along with the email addresses of the accounts you ticked and the company name you typed. They are used only to get your company’s data measured and priced, for the company that gave you the code. Each step the tool takes is also sent (which page, and whether it worked), so the tool gets better. When a step fails on a settings or storage page, that page’s text goes with the report, with email addresses hidden. Text from an inbox, a message, a file, a chat or a document is never sent. If the tool can’t read a settings page on its own, it sends that page’s text to CorpusClear, which uses an AI model to find the number. Email addresses on those pages are hidden before anything is sent.

What we never do

We never sell your data or use it for ads. We never read message, chat or file contents, and never collect passwords, payment details or browsing history.

Removing it

Open chrome://extensions and click Remove on Manifest. Anything it saved on your computer goes with it. To delete results sent to us, email info@historypays.com.
